AKB48 members Matsui Sakiko has announced her graduation from the group when Team A theater performance Takahahsi Minami 'Renai Kinshi Jourei' held at the AKB48 theater today, May 29, 2015.
Matsui said, "Excuse me, may I ask a short time, there is what I want to announce. I, Sakiko Matsui will graduate from AKB48". Furthermore, "I'm sorry because I did not announce it at the right moment. I really apologize to you but I really love Team A Takahashi Minami, so I decided to announce it today" said Matsui Sakiko.
Regarding
the reasons for graduation, Matsui explains, "I have seven years in
AKB48. I'm glad to be able to do a lot of work, so brilliant, do a lot
of things as a normal girl who is not experienced. But there are still
many things I want to do as a soloist. I am grateful to have received
a request personal work, including a lot of work associated with piano
or music that has been my dream since the first, and even released a CD
of solo piano in AKB ". Furthermore,
Matsui said, "The desire to release more CDs, no matter how long it
takes, has grown stronger and stronger within me. Therefore, I have to
get much, much better to be recognized even by one more person , and I'm very determined to achieve my dreams ".
Matsui also revealed himself who want to try working in other fields. "I want to work as a radio announcer, assistant MC, reporter, so I
wanted to do a job like that. So, I'm very happy if you continue to
support me," he said.
To date Matsui Sakiko last appearance in AKB48 has not been determined.
